Georgia Studies |
|
This site is designed to be a place where teachers and students can
gather information about Georgia Studies. Georgia Studies is a class
that is taken by 8th grade students in the Muscogee County School
District. The curriculum covers a variety of topics, sweeping from the
geography of Georgia, early Indian inhabitants, colonial settlements,
the civil war, and all the way to Georgia today. Georgia may be the main
topic, but there is no way to cover Georgia history without touching on
most of the events covered in US History. Georgia Studies is a great
class to prepare students for their future high school Social Studies
experience.
